Low-level laser (light) therapy (LLLT) in skin: stimulating, healing, restoring
This article reviews a number of previously published studies that evaluate the efficacy of Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) for various skin disorders. It considers studies that effectively used LLLT for acne, psoriasis, burns, wrinkles, and more. The authors concluded that “LLLT appears to have a wide range of applications of use, especially in indications where stimulation of healing, reduction of inflammation, reduction of cell death, and skin rejuvenation are required.”
